As per the latest changes in App Store guidelines, any iOS app is able to send ads messages using push notifications.
This allow apps to alert their users or customers about specific offers or products that they may be interested. In order to be able to send the ads, the users needs to agree on it. And also, if the users change their mind, they need to be able to cancel this type of messages.
This change open a new way of advertising and sellings as now your app can be able to send personalized messages for sales or new products that your audience may be interest in.
So far the only company that was able to send notifications with content very similar to ads without being punish, was Apple. So the company was always critized for being able to do this, while other weren’t.
